Project Overview
The Construction of MEP work, including Fire Network, Sewer Network, Potable Network, and Electrical & Mechanical works at Amiral Jubail was undertaken by El-Masa El Zahabia Contracting Company to deliver to Saudi Aramco.The project involves the complete execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works required to support the infrastructure development at the Amiral site in Jubail. The scope includes the construction of underground utility networks, installation of mechanical systems, and integration of electrical components essential for safe, reliable, and continuous operation of the facility.
The works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards (where applicable), international codes, and the requirements of the client and consultant.
Scope of Work
1. Firefighting Network
- Installation of underground firewater pipelines, fittings, and isolation valves.
- Construction of fire hydrants, monitors, and valve chambers.
- Connection to fire pumps, tanks, and main distribution headers.
- Execution of flushing, hydrostatic testing, and commissioning of the firewater system.
- Ensuring full compliance with NFPA and project fire protection standards.
2. Sewer Network
- Construction of gravity sewer pipelines, manholes, inspection chambers, and house connections.
- Installation of PVC/HDPE/GRP pipes (as per design) with proper bedding and alignment.
- Ensuring correct slopes and flow direction as per approved drawings.
- Performing leakage tests, CCTV inspection (if required), and final commissioning.
3. Potable Water Network
- Laying of potable water pipelines, valves, and associated chambers.
- Installation of service connections to buildings and facilities.
- Pressure testing, flushing, and chlorination of the potable water system.
- Compliance with health and safety standards for drinking water distribution.
4. Electrical Works
- Installation of power supply cables, control cables, and grounding systems for all MEP utilities.
- Construction of electrical panels, feeder pillars, and distribution boards.
- Termination, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems supporting pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
- Integration with SCADA or monitoring systems where required.
5. Mechanical Works
- Installation of pumps, mechanical equipment, valves, and associated piping systems.
- Fabrication and installation of pipe supports, anchors, and structural brackets.
- Alignment, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Ensuring system reliability and compliance with mechanical design specifications.
